The Abbey Montessori

Abbey Montessori was founded at the beginning of the new millennium. The school is dedicated to the care and education of infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our program is developmentally appropriate for the ages that we serve. Children are accepted without regard to race, color, creed, physical disabilities or national region.

Parents are their child's first and ongoing teachers. We consider it a privilege to join them in this important task.

Mission Statement

It is our mission to create a model supportive educational environment. We participate with parents who share our values to achieve the total development of the whole child: socially, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. We develop the values and character of the child utilizing the principles of Montessori education. We integrate self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation and a love of learning into our program.

We enhance the child's experience by utilizing professional alliances and aligning ourselves with the needs and career development goals of the staff.
